Social Distancing
  • To comply with social distancing Hands On will be operating on a 'One in, One Out' basis. To do this Debra will be asking clients to wait outside on arrival and Debra will come and welcome you in once ready. Debra also asks that clients do not bring anyone with them to Curlew Cottage (unless they need a carer, parent, guardian). Walk-ins will no longer be possible so if you wish to book an appointment, or buy a gift voucher please do so over the phone.
  • Debra kindly asks that clients follow the Government's social distancing rules when at Hands On. Debra will have PPE on therefore keeping a distance of at least 1 metre is acceptable before and after your treatment.
  • Treatments on the face area (which requires close proximity to the face) can now take place in line with Government guidance. These include: Facials, Facial Waxing, Eyebrow Waxing, Eyebrow/Eyelash Treatments.

Hygiene & Disinfection Measures
  • To reduce the risk of cross-infection we will be cleaning and disinfecting all high touch areas such as door handles and card machines, as well as the treatment area and bathroom after each client.
  • Debra encourages payment via card or BACS.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available on arrival for clients and  regularly hand washing will be common practice.
  • Unfortunately Debra will be unable to provide refreshments during your visit however you are welcome to bring your own.
  • Debra has always ensured she thoroughly disinfects all reusable tools and that they are disposed of where appropriate. All metal tools are cleaned, disinfected using Barbicide and then stored in a UV Steriliser. All single use tools such as wooden spatulas and nail files will be disposed of after each treatment.
